For nearly 4 years I worked as a Summer Camp Counselor and Camp Supervisor. I led groups of children through arts and crafts, gym games and sports, as well as provided basic care including first aid and personal exercises that helped with the children’s personal growth. I grew up babysitting my younger siblings and their friends and spent time throughout school as a tutor for different subjects. I believe all children should be encouraged to try new things, face challenges, and learn about themselves and the world around them. It is important to me that the child care I provide helps both the children and their families know what it feels like to be appreciated for who they are and what they do.
