I’m good with kids not only because I know how to help them have fun and l learn but also because I’ve grown the patience to take time to understand their emotions and how to help them be comfortable. Caring especially for children that aren’t family has really taught me to pay attention to their demeanor and be able to quickly figure out how their feeling even if they can’t yet put it into words. It is an amazing experience being able to create a bond where the child knows they get to be themselves comfortably and know that they’re safe.
