Hi! I am moving to ithaca in July and am interested in part time or full time nannying, as well as babysitting jobs. I have worked as a full time teacher for 6 years at an after-school program, as a STEM and Education specialist. I am especially great with taking kids to parks and museums, teaching them about nature, doing fun craft activities, and building their confidence in everyday activities. My approach is based on giving kids as many social and emotional skills as possible, while building their educational skill set as well. I love Dr. Becky if anyone knows her stuff! I work with kids all ages - I worked at a childcare center with kids 6mo-6years old, as well as at the after school program with ages 6-18. I have developed and ran programs with all ages. In addition, I am a fun, kind, and educated person. I Read more love to hike, go birding, climb, read, have picnics, cook, and go to museums. I come from a family of 7, and was most recently caring for my elderly grandma - I’m a big family person.
