My childcare is well rounded and balanced. I strongly believe in education and having fun. Outdoor activities and trips to the museums are some of the best ways to connect with the little ones while getting them involved with education. As a nanny imperative to understand the needs and wants of the parents and apply them daily. Being a nanny for 10 years my experiences are vast and plentiful. I've been blessed to have had the opportunity to on be a part of two amazing families. As a positive person it was a joy to provide assistance with in their daily lives. Some of my daily requirements involved drop off/ pick up from school. Weekly church catechism practice. It was requested that I sit in the younger child’s class until she was ready to be on her own. I would drive the older child to after school extra-curricular activities such Read more as choir and the arrangement of play dates. Potty training, learning colors, and abc’s were some of the direct request from the parents. With-in three months potty training was achieved. Yey! I introduced activities that were helpful in motor skill development, such as block building, using child safe scissors, coloring in the lines and strengthening hands with play-dough. I’d often read before and after nap time to ease them back into the day. Healthy meals is essential for the little one’s health and mental/physical development, while being mindful of any allergies. I also provided my time to give the parents date nights a few times a year. I often took care of the house and pets while the family was out of town. A little about myself, I’m upbeat, responsible, and compassionate. Im 38 ,My undergraduate degree is in writing and literature from Naropa University. Although my focus was more academic my education was also contemplatively based. It was there that I got involved with meditation and Eastern philosophies. On my free time I love the outdoors , cooking, and going to art museums. I have a clean background check & a clean driving record. I'm currently looking for employment because my husband career transferd him to Edmond OK. Sadly my contract with my current amazing family is coming to a close in Colorado. I will be in OK, as a perminate resident the second week of September .My car insurance is current, I drive a 2011 Mini Cooper. I do not smoke and Im not allergic to pets.
