I have been working with kids of all ages for eight years. Including extensive coursework and hands on work with developmentally disabled children. I have been involved in many activities over the years such as acting, singing, volunteering, and camp crafts counselor positions. Throughout my experiences I have learned to encourage and engage kids to explore their creative sides. I choose to be a nanny over the summers during my college years because I love seeing the world through the eyes of children and seeing just how far their imagination can grow. In addition, my major is going to be in pediatric medicine so it really will be the path of my future. I just completed my freshman year at the University of Northern Colorado and I have declared my major as pediatric medicine.
