Hello! My name is Ashley and I’m an aspiring Nanny. I have an affinity for working with kids, and am a very naturally patient and caring person who desires to serve and support a wonderful family. I have experience working with children 3-10 years old as a volunteer in several capacities. I was an assistant cheerleading coach for 1 year, serving underprivileged kids ages 5-10 in the Denver area. I was an after school teacher for 1.5 years working with kids ages 5-10 at the YMCA of the Rockies. I have worked and been a volunteer for the Burton Chill foundation for 3 years, working to teach inter-city & underprivileged kids ages 8-15 how snowboard and build leadership skills on and off the mountain. I am currently a volunteer with the program Kids in Focus, who serves underprivileged kids teaching the to build trust and see themselves and the world Read more in a new light through after school photography field trips. I am patient, reliable, flexible, thoughtful, kind, and supportive. I do well with little supervision and take initiative to ensure everything and everyone is taken care of. Prior to 2020, I worked for the government at the National Renewable Energy Laboratory (NREL) as a Communications and Public Affairs Specialist for 6.5 years. In 2020, I decided to take a leap to pursue my passion as a photographer and start my own business. As I continue to grow my business as an entrepreneur, I currently work in the service industry as a Banquet and Restaurant Server. I am currently looking to pair my passion and experience working with kids as an in-home Nanny with my lifestyle as a photographer and believe the two will fit perfectly with a wonderful family. As I would be looking primarily for a live-in Nanny option, I do have a very sweet and loving corgi named Grizzly who also loves kids who I’d be looking to share a room with me. Grizzly is very well behaved and brightens up the life of anyone who meets him. I would love to support a family in achieving their visions and dreams while being able to have the opportunity to work for them and on my time off to continue working with my photography clients.
