I have been a care giver for 8+ years. I started at the age of 13 and tremendously built my experience since. For 3 years I was a childcare provider at Miramont Lifestyle & Fitness, a local gym in Fort Collins. While working at the gym I cared for children between the ages of 3 months-12 years old. I continued to provide child care in college as a nanny. My favorite experience was a few years ago- I became a traveling nanny in the summer. I traveled with a family from Colorado to the UK and Iceland for a month an a half. I was responsible for one child, a 8-year-old boy for 15 hours a day. Considering my experience with children I enjoy being a care giver. I received my Bachelor's at the University of Northern Colorado studying elementary education with an endorsement in ESL (English as a second Read more language) in 2021. Shortly after I accepted a position as a teacher. The pandemic impacted the 'education world' significantly therefore I changed careers while to this day I continue to wait for things to settle down. I accepted a promotion at Miramont but now Genesis Health Clubs as a Club Manager for the Loveland location. About a year in the location closed due to business reasons. I feel like I am in a funk and not sure where life will take me. But I want to return to teaching in the fall. I love children and have a passion for teaching. With my experiences I want to continue to educate little minds while creating a positive and safe environment, and explore opportunities.
