I personally became a caregiver because being around children is something I have always been passionate about. I have loved taking care of kids for just about as long as I can remember, and I remember when I turned 12, I was so excited because a few families at my church were looking for a babysitter and I quickly offered to work for them, and for the next 6 years, I was babysitting for these families weekly. I have worked with children of all ages, not to mention that personally, I have 5 siblings, 3 of which who are younger so I also have had my own personal experience of taking care of them and helping my parents out in areas where it’s needed. I am CPR and First Aid certified as my other job is at an assisted living facility. I think this job would be perfect for me Read more because it’s just something that I’m so passionate about and I think that working with children is my true calling in life. I am in college right now, in hopes to become a pediatric surgeon one day, and that has been my goal for awhile, heavily influenced by all the years i’ve worked with kids.
