Hi, my name is Desiree. I had a salon for 20 years and retired when I had my first baby at 39, and had my second at 42. Prior to my own children, I was a foster parent for teens, I was blessed to have completely turn around the lives of 2 girls, who are now grown with kids of their own. I have always loved kids and love interacting with them, and hearing what they have to say. I have so much joy watching them learn. If I could do it all over again I would love to be a teacher, having a positive influence on the children that are going to build the future, it's powerful to have someone believe in you that isn't your family. Now that my daughter is in kindergarten, I'm home with my 2 year old son and would love to care for your Read more little as well. I would like to be able to care for your child along with mine, they can have the socialization without the pressure of a full class. If it's preferable that I don't have him that is fine too. I believe children are deserving of respect and care, and that learning is the focus of every interaction. Especially learning through play. I love cooking home cooked meals and believe nutrition plays a huge role in behavior.
