I am an active, fun-loving individual who loves working with kids and creating lasting bonds and connections. One of my favorite parts of my job is watching them grow, expand and develop themselves. It never feels like work, and that's what is really amazing. It's truly an indescribable feeling to be a part of that process, to care for them and enable them to thrive and flourish. I have over 5 years experience as a full-time nanny and babysitter... And to date I have never enjoyed working more than when I am with children. I believe strongly in the importance of nurturing creativity and independence at a young age, and the vital lessons that we, too, can learn from them. In my experience as a nanny, I have learned invaluable skills, including a fail-proof way to calm down, redirect and re-engage, creative activities that always bring out a smile, and Read more successful methods at convincing kids to eat their veggies. I am CPR and First Aid trained, and also specialize in Holistic Nutrition. I am particularly good at meal prep, brainstorming new activities to engage in, and encouraging to think outside of the box. I believe in the importance of getting away from the computers and TVs and actually interacting face-to-face, whether it be through games, outdoor activities, etc. Kids are in a hugely developmental period, and I like to help establish healthy habits at an early age so they can learn to do so for themselves when they are older. I am currently an entrepreneur and work from home on a website that I Co-Founded called MultiverseCity, which empowers individuals, who wish to pursue a more creative path, to create the life of their dreams. I also currently work part-time as a babysitter in the afternoons. I'm seeking work in the mornings, and early afternoon. My schedule is usually very flexible, and I have no problem with working on the weekends. I feel most comfortable when caring for 1-3 kids, ages 4+, although I do have experience with infants, and all ages, as well. I am a quick learner, as especially because I understand that every child is unique, I like to take the time to really get to know each child and cater to their specific needs for support and nurturing. Overall, I know that I will be a great fit for your family... I am adaptable, compassionate, patient and easy-going. I have a flexible schedule, can work on short notice, and always have an up-beat can-do attitude. I look forward to getting to know you more as well!
