They are funny, inquisitive, and keep me on my toes. Supporting their development as a growing member of society has always been a passion of mine. Working with children is intuitive for me, and my background in education and psychology ensures I have successful relationships and foster developmental progress. I lead with an authoritative parenting style which is consistently backed by psychological research as the most successful parenting style for children long-term. I have recently left the education sector to pursue greater growth and challenges both personally and professionally, and feel the corporate sphere can meet those desires. Though the transition has been unsuccessful thus far, I'd like to continue pursuing this goal. I am seeking a short-term commitment with a family while I continue my corporate job search. My hope is to have a set amount of hours per week, ideally 30-40. As the full-time commitment ends, we can discuss continuing the relationship by scheduling date nights and/or overnight/weekend stays while parents are away. I believe in leading with transparency, always, so I am happy to share my rate upfront. 1-2 children is $30/hr, and 2-4 children is $35/hr. I am happy to discuss how the rate would change for 5+ children. These rates are reflective of my eduction, experience, and professional development. My desired start date is August 19th, 2024.
