Hello there! I'm Alexandra, my friends call me Alex. I am 23. I graduated from University of Colorado at Boulder with dual emphasis in Marketing and Entrepreneurship. I am going back to school in the Fall of 2024 for a Master's Degree in Social Work. I eventually want to be a one on one therapist for children and young adults who are victims of high conflict divorce, experiencing anxiety or depression. I have babysat since I was in 7th grade (Sometimes crazy to think about a 7th grader watching an infant and elementary schooler, but I did it!). The last time I nannied was in my Sophomore year of college. I have nannied long term for four different families. I have worked with all ages, boys and girls. For the past few years I have been a Marketing Associate for a restaurant group based in Boulder. Since I am going Read more back to school for Social Work, I felt a strong urge to work with children again. I see being a nanny as signing up to be a mentor. I am still in contact with many families I have worked for in the past. It has been a fulfilling journey to watch these young children grow in such beautiful humans. I worked as a Head Lifegaurd at Pirates Cove for two years. There I became CPR and First Aid Certified. I also worked with our lifeguards to train them on both CPR and First Aid. I will need to certify again, but that is something I am very comfortable and familiar with. Please see my resume for more details!
