From watching my mom work in her Kindergarten/Preschool classrooms, to babysitting neighbors as soon as I was of legal age, I always knew that I wanted to work with kids. It seems that no matter where life has taken me, I have always found myself right back where I love to be, working with precious kiddos. I have always loved kids, and I have a passion for child-development, especially involving language development, developmental disorders and neurodivergence. In my free time, I often read about or watch videos about these topics in order to improve my own techniques. I've also had the privilege of working alongside Speech Language Pathologists as well as Occupational Therapists, and I try to apply what I've learned to meet each child's individual needs. By personality, I enjoy brainstorming solutions for everyday struggles involving food, sleep, behavior, emotions, etc. and I like to make your ideas and Read more mine come to life in a creative way. I like to have fun with kids, really play with them and really get to know them individually, adapting to their needs and interests. I also try my best to guide them to be kind, generous, thoughtful and empathetic human beings. I know that my example in being those things speaks louder than anything I might say. In my free time, I strive to be a part of my community and get to know and help others. I especially enjoy arts and crafts and music. I speak Nepalese fluently, as well as American Sign Language. I volunteer, and I do some side-jobs apart from being a nanny, including pet-sitting and Nepali language interpreting and tutoring. I am looking for part time work starting in late-September 2025 following an international trip after my nanny kiddo of four years goes off to Kindergarten. I request to work as a W-2 Household Employee wherever I end up. My hours are flexible, but I am looking for 20-30 hours per week. That can be consistent hours each week or we can readjust the schedule as needed (weekly basis or otherwise). I hope to hear from you, and I wish you the best in your search for a nanny!
