I graduated with my bachelor's degree in Human development from Metro in 2011, received my K-6 teaching license in May of 2012 and then got a job working for a base program at a gifted and talented charter school. I worked the summer camp where we went on field trips, played games and did crafts with the kids. I did this for about 4 years with the same school and then got the interventionist position in learning services, providing research based interventions for struggling readers. I am am also certified in a research based approach called S'cool Moves and I am also a certified Orton Gillingham therapist (reading approach for struggling readers). I have also nannied for 6 girls ages 11-13. We did crafts, went to Waterworld, the movies anywhere they wanted to go I would drive them.
