I belong to a tight-knit family of five siblings, including myself- with the addition of seven nieces and nephews. With a younger sister and a handful of nieces and nephews I can personally admit caring for children at any age has become second nature. I love babysitting, it's a gratifying experience getting to know other children aside from the babies in my own family. I enjoy playing, cooking, and of course interacting with the children I'm babysitting. I have experience in volunteering at New Britain General Hospital for three years, I also have a degree in Communication from Tunxis Community College (additionally, credits from Southern CT). I have maintained an honors level grade point average throughout my entire life of academics, this level of work performance has always been a priority for me. I played Lacrosse & Soccer for several years’ right into college, and I earned titles such as Read more MVP as well as captain for two years. Specific skills I have attained over the years include: patience, multi-tasking, leadership, as well as perseverance. Children certainly need these four skills from a babysitter in my eyes for their needs to be met. I don’t believe in rigorous discipline, I believe however in positive environments with encouragement and creativity. When it comes to my work history, babysitting has always been a convenient fall back when attending college or after work. Currently I work remote at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute in Troy, NY.
