Greetings! I am a certified teacher with over two decades of experience instructing and caring for children of all ages, from newborn to teenager. I have credentials in the areas of early childhood education, special education, and cultural & linguistic diversity. I have worked in many capacities, including being the owner/operator of my own home preschool, teaching a variety of elementary school grade levels, running a school-age program at a learning center, being a live-in nanny, subbing in daycare centers, helping raise my three younger siblings, and bringing up my own child as a single parent. I have also worked in the specific roles of both a K-8 teacher for students with special needs and as a teacher for students learning English as a second language. My passion for helping to grow children's minds with a strong sense of wonder & exploration is just as strong now as it was Read more when I began my journey. I have an incredible amount of energy, which is a great match for youth of all ages. I am extremely safety-conscious, and my creativity is endless with regard to filling the time and keeping kids engaged. Please do not be intimidated by my age, as I am very young-spirited and I guarantee I can match any kid's energy! Your child(ren) will be in great hands under my watchful eyes!! (While I absolutely love infants and know how to help them develop their minds and bodies, I much prefer working with toddlers, preschoolers, and school-age children because it allows me to moreso utilize my tremendous skill set.) *Note- As a licensed teacher, I have been background checked & fingerprinted regularly over the years. I have also had continuous training in CPR, 1st aid, & crisis management, and I am willing to update any of these as needed.
Trust & safety
We encourage parents to conduct their own screenings using the background check tools. See what each of the badges covered, or learn more about keeping your family safe by visiting the Trust & Safety Center.
