Hi! My name is Melissa, I am a 30-year-old qualified, and experienced individual currently residing in Andover, CT. I graduated from Eastern Connecticut State University in 2013 and since then have gained a variety of experience working with young learners in different settings, my most recent involvement as being a Youth in Development volunteer in Thailand through the Peace Corps! I am pediatric First Aid and CPR certified and also have my Medication Administration certificate. I currently work as a Toddler Teacher at a local NAEYC accredited center where my responsibilities include creating developmentally appropriate lesson plans, parent communication, meal preparation, toilet training, and classroom supervision. I believe that children learn best through someone who is willing to listen and display kindness and compassion towards their needs, while allowing them to explore who they are and have fun all at the same time!
