I am an R.N. and C.M.A. My specialty is pediatrics, although I've worked in NICU, maternity, nursery and med-surg. During my college years and while my own children were young, I owned a day care in my home. My "nanny bag" is always full with age-appropriate crafts/activities for the children, and enjoy games that revolve around learning skills i.e. alphabet, numbers, days of the week, or flash cards with multiplication tables or crafts that encourage hand-eye coordination, etc. I have also taught at a preschool for a few years. I love children and love the thrill I get when they learn anything new! I have lots of experience with special needs children. I pride myself with keeping every environment neat and clean, and always the way mom left it or better! If down time (children napping) I enjoy laundry, mopping, sweeping, etc. PS I will also nanny at my home. I promise to love Read more your child/children like my own; create a fun, healthy and safe environment at all times, and do my best to make the most of our time together!!

I had Sue over for a last minute babysitting job and she was excellent. She cared for my three young kids and was even happy to help with my laundry! More importantly, she played with the kids. She brought toys for them to play with and told them great stories. Now they keep asking for her to come back! I will definitely have Sue back if she's available.
