Hi! My name is Sam, and I grew up being the built-in babysitter for my younger siblings. I also grew up in the service industry, so I have great communication skills. I worked as a nanny during college for two children (a toddler and elementary aged child that I would pick up from school and daycare after my classes) During that time, I would help with homework, make sure they were fed, get the older child ready and off to her activities, and do basic tidying around the house while I was there. I also worked as a para for special needs kindergarten, (I have experience working with children with autism) and as a substitute teacher for grades K-5 (most of my time subbing was with K-2). I went to college at Boston University, have a bachelor’s in health studies, and went to graduate school for physical therapy, so I Read more have a good understanding of educational and therapeutic play strategies as well. I’m looking to work with a family that I mesh well with, where I could be a helping hand when needed and help reduce the stress and craziness of parenting (because kids are a full time job, and parenting is hard). Most importantly though, I want to make your life easier so that your children can receive the best and live their happiest little lives.
