I started babysitting at the young age of 12. I have always been a responsible person that enjoys taking care of children. I babysat all throughout my younger years and became a summer Nanny at age 16 for a family with 3 girls under the age of 9. I continued to babysit and nanny children of all ages. My first niece was born when I was 14 and my second when I was 16. I loved being their nanny and taking care of both of them as babies and throughout all their lives. I am a very big part of their lives and helped raise them. Even 10 years ago in my teens, I knew whatever I did as a career would include children in some way. After studying music in college, I began teaching performance classes and lessons to children of all ages. I have continued on to study Read more children's psychology and I train voice teachers around the world how to train children students. I love being around children and watching them learn and have fun. Everything a child experiences and learns builds them into the person they will become when they grow up. Teaching and taking care of children is such an important job because I can have a positive impact in a child's life, and knowing that brings me so much joy! Whether it be building a child's confidence, bringing a child comfort and joy, teaching them something new or just making them laugh, it all brings so much satisfaction. I nannied for a family with 3 great kids in CT for 2 years. Ages 6 mon-5 when I started. We had so much fun playing games, making crafts, building legos, going to the park, and library, having picnics, etc. Before, I nannied for a wonderful family for 4 years that had 2 children. With this family, I enjoyed helping the kids with anything that I could and helping the mom get everything done that she needed to. I helped the kids with anything they needed like homework, projects, organizing, etc. I did anything the mom needed from running errands, to walking the dog, to doing the dishes. I am a very helpful person that is ready to help in anyway possible. I enjoy helping others and making a mother's life easier. I do not have kids of my own yet, but I have helped many mothers, and I know it can be hard and an extra set of hands is always helpful! If you are looking for a nanny or babysitter to help in any way with children of any age, I am your girl! I am very responsible, outgoing, fun, caring, helpful, cheerful, down to earth and I absolutely love kids!
