I am so excited to have the opportunity to apply for the position of summer Nanny your family in Montauk! I have worked as a babysitter for two young children for over three years, and my experiences in childcare and gymnastics coaching have had a beneficial impact on both the families I’ve worked for and on myself. I am confident that I can make a positive impact as a part of your household as well. As an experienced caretaker, I have been able to take care of children through various stages of their childhood, from toddler years to almost middle school. I’ve also encountered a wide range of kids’ personalities from gymnastics coaching, which have turned me into a flexible, resourceful, and patient babysitter. I took care of two young children from when they were 3 and 5 until they turned 6 and 8. This meant picking them up from Read more school and working with their family’s schedule, organizing and feeding them meals and snacks, putting them to bed, and of course, having lots of fun. From firsthand experience, I recognize the value of hands-on playing and learning, and I’m so happy you’re looking for someone who can hopefully give your children an experience similar to the happy ones I had growing up. Outside of work and childcare, I uphold high standards of academics and healthy living for myself. I’m beginning my second year at the University of California, Santa Barbara this September, where I’m studying Environmental Studies. I love to exercise and take advantage of the beautiful place I live, which for me means going on daily walks or runs, surfing, and hiking. I have high energy and would be happy to go to the beach, on walks, and play outside. Of course, I’d love to speak with you and your family beforehand to agree on what you’re comfortable with and what kinds of activities you think would be beneficial and fun. My experience and personal skills make me a reliable and eager candidate who will happily help your household run smoothly. My family lives on the Connecticut shoreline and will likely be spending time in Montauk this summer, but I’d be happy to relocate for the summer to wherever is easiest for your family.
