Hello! My name is Jennifer Aparicio. I am the eldest of 4 children and have always taken on the mom role. I began babysitting at an early age and have always volunteered in various children's programs. I ran my own home daycare for 23 years after my second son was born. We had many adventures like going to the park, brook stomping, beach trips, afternoons at the pool, taking advantage of the library programs, going to the various children's museums, science museums and zoos. One year I even took my crew camping! It was a BLAST!!! We were connected with a local convalescent home where we would do different activities with the elderly and shut in. We would connect with other home daycares and do activities and picnics together. I always took my crew with me to do errands and we had a paper route that we did together. I was responsible for guiding a sixth grader and a kindergartener through their online learning. Once school was back in session, I took on a job at a daycare center. I have been background checked, med, epi-pen, and CPR trained, and am registered with Care 4 Kids. I have worked with children with a variety of special needs as well as those in the birth to 3 program. I have been able to implement various techniques to address each child's individual needs.
