Hi, I'm Jenny, and I live in Middletown with my husband and two sons, ages 12 and 15. I was a stay at home mom for eight years after my first son was born in 2003. Aside from caring for children and being a nanny, I have been a substitute teacher for the Middletown School District and an after-school instructor teaching science. (I have a masters degree in biology which I used in my previous pre-mom life.) My child care philosophy is that kids benefit from engaging with their caretakers. For babies I like to go on long walks with the stroller, play, "chat," listen to music, and read books. For older kids I like to play outdoors, do arts and crafts, play games, read books aloud, and do science experiments. I have a dog and two cats so pets are not a problem. I do not smoke.
