Hello! After a 14 year career in retail corporate education, I changed careers to Wilderness Therapy after months of traveling, trekking and climbing in Nepal. As a Master Instructor, I managed groups of children with OCD, ODD, ADHD, those on the spectrum and other behavioral challenges. I trained instructors and the students; teaching primitive life skills and adventure skills, healthy coping mechanisms and mindfulness. I managed camp organization and cleanliness, schedules and theraputic sessions. I have 2 years of previous experience working with infants and toddlers. I am first aid and CPR certified and a Wilderness First Responder certified by OLO. I have a passion for compassionate education and conversation. I love to cook with kids as it was a formative experience for me as a child, as was my early experiences in nature with my family, followed closely by my exposure to the arts and literature.
