I am a recent graduate with my Master's in Social Work from the University of Denver this past June looking for a childcare opportunity while I study for my License Clinical Social Work exam! I have attended Danbury Hospital's babysitting training program when I was a freshman in high school and have been babysitting ever since. Since taking that course, I have nannied full time the past 4 summers, provided after school care, overnights, transportation, and supervised many children at parties and babysat on nights and weekends which usually included preparing meals, cleaning, and homework help. I have had an internship as a social worker at an elementary school in New Britain, CT. I have also volunteered time at Interfaith Learning Daycare working with preschoolers. In addition, I have worked at Wooster Summer Camp and the Brookfield YMCA Summer Camp as a camp counselor with children from preschool all the Read more way to middle school. The past year I have worked with kids and families clinically at Kaiser Permanente as a Behavioral Medicine Specialist intern and babysat for local families for date nights. I am extremely reliable and trustworthy. I drive a safe and reliable vehicle with a clean driving record (with snow tires in the winter) and will be able to transport a maximum of three children at a time.
