My name is Katie and I am a reliable, energetic, organized and intelligent nanny for your growing family. I am currently a preschool teacher in Ridgefield, but starting at the end of June, I'm hoping to do something else full time. I am 28 years old and I started caring for children when I was 13 with kids ages newborn to 11 years old. I have a lot of experience with special needs children in particular. I went to school for Early Childhood Education at Wheaton College, MA. After college I worked in an Early Intervention in Boston where I was a 1:1 therapist for children under three with any developmental delay. While living in Boston, I also taught as a preschool teacher. I love creating art, sensory play, music, games, reading books and outdoor play with children so they can grow in a healthy and safe environment.
