Hello! My name is Nava Cotton. I’m an SCSU grad (2020) majored in social work and Spanish (I’m bilingual!). I have 5+ years of experience with children from infancy to teen. I worked for 4 years for a family in new haven during my undergrad. Started when their daughter was 6 weeks and son was 2 years. Stayed with them for 2 years as part time and 2 years as a full time nanny. The change in part time to full time was because my schedule allowed it during last two years of school. I work now (remotely) at a local health department as a social worker and parent educator for at risk families. I work with prenatal moms until their kids are 5 years old and assist with family wellbeing with a focus on child development. Working remotely will be at least for the next year or longer and Read more i'm finding that remote work has me with more free time then I know what to do with so I would absolutely adore to get back into caring for children as a nanny part-time.
