I think children are the most rewarding people to work with. They listen, ask questions, and through their actions show how much you impact their lives. I cared for children whose ages have ranged from 4 months to 12 years old. While every child has different developmental needs depending on their stages of life, I have always felt competent in aiding their development. Whether it be tummy time, learning shapes and colors, transitioning from liquid to solid foods, or from diapers to the potty, learning to spell, or homework in general, I am always ready and willing to help them succeed in these new challenges. My favorite activity to do with them is read and love to attend the local library! But thoroughly enjoy doing projects, crafts, or simply going out for a walk.
