My name is Katherine and I am looking for a family that I can grow with. I can only imagine how special your family is to you. I know that one day when I have children how incredibly special they will be to me. Thus, it is important that whomever you are inviting into your home that you are confident in inviting them into your family. I hope that we are a good fit for one another. I graduated from Northwestern University a couple of years ago. Recently, I was meant to go teach English abroad to children. However, due to recent events I have been seeking other positions in childcare. Our future is our children. The way that we care for our children sets an example with respect to how we care for others. No matter how old your child is now, they will remember the way that they Read more were cared for when they were young. This is how they will care for one another as they continue to grow. There are so many things happening in the world that it is impossible to keep track of them all. I believe one of the most important things is that we all need to learn how to care for one another better. We all need to show up, love and support one another better than how we are now. This starts in the home. This is important to me regardless of what I am doing. I originally wanted to do it through teaching. However, I do believe that things unfold the way they are meant to. I would be honored to bring this value to your household. I want to do my part in whatever way that I can to raise children to be strong, empowered leaders. At Northwestern I competed in rowing at a varsity level for all four years. Before quarantine, I fell back in love with running and hiking. Meditation and connection are at the center of my life. I believe that being outdoors as much as possible and connecting to nature is one of the most important elements in living a healthy life. When I am not running or hiking, I am writing. My first passion has always been writing and journaling to live a more mindful life. I have baby-sitting experience with children from the ages of 3 to 10. I have taken a couple of courses with American Red Cross in child/infant care, CPR, etc. I would be more than happy to take those courses again if required to do so. I want to do whatever I can so that you feel comfortable with me caring for your family. No matter what the task is, I promise that I will put my whole heart into it. I believe that the love you put into your life is felt everywhere and so it is important to be intentional with everything you do.
