I have nannied for my brother, all my cousins, and family friends since I was thirteen. I have also been teaching preschool since early 2011. I am responsible for weekly lesson plans that are curriculum based and fun for my children. We do various art projects at least twice a day. I am responsible for the general well being of my children while they are under my care. I worked at See Us Grow in Wallingford in the toddler room and my roll was the same. Plainville Daycare, a NAEYC accredited center as an Assistant Teacher. Although my role is an assistant, I was in the Prek-3 room and I am very familiar with the Connecticut Preschool Assessment Framework and Blooms Taxonomy in discussion questions, as well as daily activities, and planning centers. I wrote a weekly lesson plan including; music and movement, story, discussion questions, P.A.F suited activities, and projects suited for observations. I sat in on parent teacher conferences, did observations, and helped with assessments. I ran morning meeting when needed, set up cots, lunches, and snack.
