Hello, my name is Leslie and I am a 26 year old girl with a love for children. I graduated from the University of Connecticut in 2019 with a Bachelors in English and a minor in Human Development and Family Studies. In this minor, I took an extensive amount of child care classes ranging from infant to teen and all of the different components that each age consists of. I also worked for an au pair company where I was placing families with children of all ages with qualified au pairs who they felt comfortable leaving their children with. I also worked at Chelsea Piers in the daycare system. I was in the infant room and toddler room where I learned how to engage with children of different ages and how to effectively meet their needs to make sure that they were well taken care of and loved. I take Read more a lot of pride in my time with children because I believe that children should be treated with nothing but love and care as they would with their guardians. I have babysat my whole life since I was 16 years old and have always loved and cherished the relationships that I have maintained with the families and now older children. I have also nannied before and am a huge believer in playing with children with educational tools to make sure that the children are being mentally stimulated and nurtured. I have a lot of patience, believe in honesty, being on time and reliable.
