Hi! My name is Grace. I have been working with children for around 7 years including teaching elementary school and pre-school, babysitting/nannying, teaching swim lessons and am certified in first aid and CPR. Also, I have experience in administering medication. I am very passionate about teaching children and creating an environment where a child feels safe as well as comfortable. I love developmental learning games as well as other fun games and activities. My teaching style is modeled after the Montessori method. What makes my style unique is that I am not only interested in teaching academics, I also am very passionate about children learning about their emotions and how to express themselves. I am athletic, outside time and fun and games are a huge part of keeping a child engaged as well as a good tool to help them grow developmentally. I use this to help discipline and create Read more a healthy relationship between me and your child/children. Discipline is just as important as having fun. My style of discipline is modeled by healthy communication to help teach emotional intelligence and boundaries. I never want a child to feel as if they are being unfairly treated while being disciplined, these lessons are very important to be taught to children so they develop healthy boundaries that they can model later in life. My number one goal is that your children are well cared for as well as loved. I am excited to hear from you!
