I am a 23 year-old artist and recent college graduate with 11 years of childcare experience. I have been everything from a camp counselor to a babysitter and live-in nanny and have worked with children ages 12 weeks to 12 years. Learning from such a wide variety of experience working with children, I have become very confident in my skills as a childcare provider. I find that while being a nanny is a great responsibility, it is also a way to express my creativity and energetic personality. I am a team player and make a conscious effort to work alongside parents in order to contribute to their child's development in any way that I can. With that said I am ideally looking for a situation to provide part time childcare and family support in exchange for room and board. This offer especially goes out to parents of children who have Read more been diagnosed with ADHD as I can offer immense support in those situations and feel comfortable giving suggestions and working together to support the child's development. Throughout my years of experience I have developed skills in planning activities, both creative and active, which I think is crucial in promoting healthy childhood development. As a nanny I am very engaging and love to add enrichment into a child's life though song, dance, playing sports and imaginative games, reading, cooking, spending time outdoors, and making art (to name a few). I hope to hear from you soon as I am very interested in the position! My references are available upon request.
