I have spent the last 3 years taking care of children full-time. When I started, the twins were 18 months and their big brother 4. I worked for their family 50 hours a week and my responsibilities included everything child related, plus grocery shopping, cooking family meals, planning birthday parties, clothes shopping and more! I potty-trained the twins and contributed to the family challenge of teaching all 3 to read. Since leaving them I have completed 29 hours of post-bacc work in Communication Sciences and Disorders, which is my true passion. While back in school I nannied for various families in various capacities with children ranging from newborn (twins!) - 8 years. I consider my strengths to be finding the right balance of discipline and fun for each child/family and fostering independence while remaining nurturing.
