Hello! My name is Grace Welch and I am a graduate from the University of Virginia with an Art History degree. My passion is in art education and youth development. Over the years I have worked in church nurseries, babysat for local neighbors and friends, and have been a Camp Counselor for children whose lives have been affected by cancer. Hanging around children brightens my day, their unusual perspectives and off the wall comments are refreshing and entertaining. More than a babysitter, I believe strongly in engaging with children so that they are comfortable in a learning environment. Reading, using our hands while making crafts, and saying simple phrases in Italian are fun yet important ways to shape young minds.

Grace was lovely with our 6 month old son. She was playful, loving and accommodating in every way! However our only complaint was that she called out quite frequently and was tardy most days. Unfortunately that is a big part of the responsibilities for a regular nanny, so would not recommend Grace for that type of role.
