I am currently a graduate student at Georgetown University pursuing a degree in international development. I've been working with a family over the last 6 years caring for their son while continuing my coursework. This year, their son commenced kindergarten and so I was no longer needed but still see and visit the family regularly. I enjoy caring for kids because they're fun, they remind adults to focus on the little things and they have a unique curiosity about the world that is refreshing and keeps me optimistic about the kind of world I want to live in.
