I am Linda Adarkwah, a 25 year old 1st grade teacher here in DC. I have worked in education for 3 years with a bachelor's degree in criminal justice plus a concentration in psychology and a masters in early childhood education. During my 4 years of undergrad I was a part time child care provider for young women like myself who attended university while being able to live on campus with their child. Through this, I developed long lasting relationships not only with the children as I watched them grow up over the years, but cultivated lasting relationships with their mom's as well. I come from a family of 6 and very much understand the importance of having emotional needs met along with the physical. In my free time I like to bike, go on the rock creek trails, hike, take ceramic classes, read poetry, and do yoga.
