I have experience in the DCPS through the AmeriCorps JumpStart program and traveled abroad to teach science in Guatemala and as an after-school mentor in Rabat, Morocco. All of my students have typically been under 12 years old. I’m the oldest of 4 children and I’ve spent my entire life caring for them, my younger cousins, kids in our neighborhood — you name it.
