Hello! I am a recent graduate from Skidmore College living in DC and hoping to work full time as a child care professional. I've worked with children in a variety of capacities, starting as a babysitter in high school. I then worked at the Little Gym, where I led gymnastics and dance and general movement classes for children ranging in ages from 18 months to 8 years old. Last summer I was a counselor at a camp for children who have an incarcerated parent. We frequently took the campers to zoos, museums and parks using public transportation - as a result, I'm quite comfortable and able to stay calm in high energy situations while providing enough supervision and attention to each child. I would be happy to take your kids on trips around DC or explore areas close to home.
