Hi there! My name is Amanda and I am a recent college graduate with extensive experience caring for a wide range of children. As soon as I was old enough to begin working at 16 I secured a job at an aftercare for 3-6 year-olds helping with homework, meals, and overall love and encouragement while their parents were at work. During college I gained valuable experience working with kids ages 6-15 who had physical and/or mental disabilities at Chapel Hill Academy. Here I was a one-on-one counselor and helped students who struggled in traditional school gain the skills necessary to graduate and ultimately have a successful future. Additionally, this past year I became an aunt for the first time and lived with my niece for the first 6 months of her life where I became extremely comfortable with newborns and young toddlers.
