I have always had a heart for childcare. While studying early childhood education at university, I was delighted to work hands-on with infants and toddlers as an Infant Nursery Supervisor. My time in childcare centers helped me master the balance of caring for multiple children at once, while continuing to give every child the love and attention they needed to thrive. After relocating to the District of Columbia in 2014, I began my career as a nanny, working more intimately with families. Throughout my 14 years working with children, I have attended many professional development workshops to broaden my expertise. I have current pediatric CPR and first aid certifications, have been certified as an infant and toddler specialist, and most recently worked as a Newborn Care specialist. I truly believes that caring for young children and their families is my purpose in life, and I am so excited to continue Read more growing as a caregiver.
