I have a younger brother who has hemophilia b, we were pretty much raised inside A.I DuPont hospital as he has had over twenty surgeries and many many major procedures in his lifetime (he just turned 18 on November) a lot of our friends growing up were patients we met in the hospital and we loved making there lives memorable as we never knew what the day next would bring us. I am also apart of a special program called best buddies/ special olympics where I help children with both physical and mental disabilities feel involved and apart of our every day world! Helping kids of all nature’s have a better life experience and guiding through rough times or even just making them feel important while mommy and daddy are at work is what I stride to do in life. I’ve always lived by the saying “I’d rather you waste a minute of your life, than your life in a minute” and I apply that to everything! Taking extra precautions and moments to think about what you’re doing or going to say can have a influence on any outcome! I only hope I can have a positive influence in any child’s life!
