My name is Brittney, and I live in Altamonte Springs, FL with my husband and sweet baby girl (she's 1). I have experience in caring for children of all ages (infants and toddlers all the way up to pre-teens). During undergraduate and graduate school, I worked with many different families including caring for a local physician's twin boys and families with children diagnosed with developmental disabilities. I earned a Master's Degree in Health Education/Community Health from East Carolina University in 2013 and am certified in Pediatric First Aid and CPR. I have also worked for a local child care agency, in Central Florida, as a health coordinator and Read more have participated in many different early childhood related trainings. In my free time I enjoy camping, surfing, doing crafts, listening to music, exploring new places, cooking natural whole foods, and spending time with loved ones. I am very inspired by the Montessori approach to learning and believe that early childhood experiences should be child led. I also follow a "Positive Guidance" policy regarding discipline and believe that a child's needs should be heard and addressed at all times.
