I have worked in Child Care and Education almost my entire life! During the last 29 years, I have provided loving care for infants and children of all ages and abilities, as a babysitter, nanny, and a teacher! I have my 12 units in ECE (early childhood education), 40+ hours of child development, a bachelor's degree and teaching credential. Throughout my experiences, I can say that I have seen it all and have dealt with a variety of challenges with great patience and positivity. I understand that each child is a unique individual, and I do whatever it takes to ensure that all of his or her needs are met. I am also a parent myself, which I believe is an advantage because it makes me even more empathetic. I am also a proactive communicator. I like to take detailed notes about the child’s day, send parents text updates and photos..which they really love and appreciate! I am a fun, down-to-earth, nurturing, compassionate, patient, calm, responsible person with a passion for taking care of children. Susie is our morning nanny a few days a week, and she is absolutely fantastic. She is very sweet with our six-month-old and he adores her! She plays with him, sings to him, reads him stories, and even helps out around the house when he's napping. She is also extremely responsible--she's always on time and is very good about staying in touch with us throughout the day, sending us photos and updates. We always come home to a smiling, happy baby! Susie has been great to work with and we recommend her highly.

Susie kept our 2.5 year old happy while we were out celebrating our anniversary. Susie followed our daughter's lead with what she was interested in, and also brought some fun projects for her. And when we came home, even though they had been doing bunches of fun, messy stuff, the house was clean!
