I have been taking care of children since the age of 9. I started babysitting at my local church where we were required to watch the children while the parents were in choir rehearsal or bible study. From there I babysat on my own our neighbor's children for a few hours every week while they were away. In the past I was a caregiver for children from 6 months old to 13 years old. I also have care-giving experience with elders that are in home. I have worked as a elementary school tutor for reading and math, paraprofessional, family worker and youth sports coach over the past 10 years. I am currently BLS certified and have been CPR/AED/First Aid since 1999. I have taken numerous courses for babysitting, care-giving and have a Bachelors degree in a health-related field.
