My husband died of pancreatic cancer a couple of years ago. Our children are now 12 and 14. We’re a travel ball family so we’re at prac or a tournament on weekends. My children are my world. Before we moved back to Callahan to be close to family as my husband was very ill.we were chasing my husbands career and I was able to keep my kids and be the parent at everything. During the school days I took care if identical twin boys to supplement our income. I love those boys and their entire family. I was devastated to leave Texas and the babies behind but my husband needed me 24 hr a day. I did go to college to be a teacher many years ago for early elementary education. I did not receive my degree but came very close. I’m 45 but have no issues with being old Read more just yet! Seriously though I’m a go outside and play type nanny Go for a walk or read books. I guess I’m saying I’m not a sitter who plops down and just let kids entertain themselves type mom. I know how quickly time passes and before you know it your babies are 12 and 14 and know everything in the whole world. My children are my everything and if I’m caring for your child you can rest assured I’d look after yours the same way. I’d love to find a family to help long term but I’m fine with short term help if scheduling allows for it. Thanks for considering me.
