After the loss of my mom when I was 8, I took on the role of helping my dad watch over my two younger brothers. I have a natural, genuine love for caring for people, especially kids. I frequently babysat for my neighbors daughters (ages 2 and 6 at the time). I would play with them, engage their interests and prepare snacks/light meals. I have also babysat for a 5-month-old boy and his 2-year-old brother. During college, I was a nanny for my cousins infant twin daughters (2 months at time) and their 6-year-old daughter. I fed them, gave them baths, held them and gave them tons of love and affection. I drove the older daughter to and from school, as well as after school activities. I did light housework such as cleaning and laundry. I love to play with kids and help stimulate their minds whether it be drawing/painting, Read more playing fun games or just watching a movie with them. I believe it's very important to be fully engaged with kids and not just be an adult to be in their presence to make sure they don't get in trouble. I'm a very patient person. All the kids I have watched have been treated as if they were my own. I am college educated, responsible and caring. I also love animals and own pets, so animal care would also be a pleasure to assist with!
