Hello! Thanks for checking out my Sittercity profile. Between experience and formal education, I can bring a lot of value (and fun!) to a wonderful family. Outlined below, are my accomplishments and past experiences. EDUCATION: University of Rhode Island Bachelors of Science in Human Development & Family Studies (GPA 3.42) Early Childhood Education, RI & CT Teaching Certification University of Connecticut Masters of Human Resources Management (GPA 3.88) EXPERIENCE: Along with being the neighborhood go-to babysitter during my youth, I continued to follow my passion for children through my undergraduate career, as outlined above. While obtaining my degree, I also was a nanny for two delightful families in Rhode Island. I created strong bonds with the children of both families, much of which I missed in my last academic year due to working full-time as a student teacher. This then led me to nanny for a family full-time, even after Read more completing my degree, while transitioning to my hometown state of Connecticut. Once the children of this family started school, I decided to pivot my career and began working with young adults in higher education. I have now been working in higher education for almost 5 years, but, with the right opportunity, I would love nothing more than to be a nanny once again.
