Hi! My name is Cici and I am a Bostonian moved to Florida! In the last three years I have taught in both private and public schools, moved to Fort Lauderdale, and have experienced a new appreciation for the great outdoors! I come from a close-knit French-Chilean family and I speak English, French, and Spanish fluently. I have a degree in Elementary Education with a minor in Spanish and Special Education. I am passionate about teaching children and experiencing new things every day. I take every opportunity to learn something new. I have been babysitting since I was 15 years old. I still remember the first child I babysat. He was our one-year old neighbor who was later diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder. His diagnosis made it challenging at times for him to communicate his wants and needs. However, I made it my priority to establish a strong connection between Read more the two of us. We had an amazing time together and I am still in contact with the family 10 years later! My degree and experience teaching allows me to bring a lot of expertise to any babysitting job I take. I have extensive understanding of child brain development as well as child psychological, physical, and emotional development. I can design developmentally appropriate activities for children ages 1-13, that will challenge them in exciting, new ways. My multi-cultural background coupled with my teaching experience allows me to be a great sitter for children of all ages.
