Hi! My name is Jo and I am originally from England. Yes, I still have my accent! I have just returned to the US from living for 3 years back in England caring for my mother who has dementia. I have 2 sons, 29 and 22 one of whom lives in Gainesville. My real job is that of a pediatric physical therapist, which I have done for 30+ years. However, with the current situation with Covid19, I am having trouble finding a job as most outpatient clinics are closed. Therefore I am looking for a job to tide me over for a couple of months until places start hiring again. I love working and looking after children. I am educated and spent time when my eldest son was in grade school age doing some home schooling as we then lived in the Middle East and there were no appropriate schools Read more for him to attend. As a kids PT I have always made therapy fun, so I really enjoy playing with kids, but know when to be firm with them also. I am organized and reliable. I am happy to help out with daily household chores too if needed. I have my BLS/CPR certification for adults and children. NB: I have not been able to request a background check on this site as it would not accept my card details. I would be happy to complete one if requested and have one from the UK where I have been working part time as a pediatric physical therapist in the NHS.
